How to Insert Charts or Graph in a excel sheet

Inserting Charts / Graph in excel is 

Easy way to insert a graph or chart in excel is below given step by step


 Here i am using first column and last column for draw a chart or graph







Select the rows / columns of values and indexes by holding Crtl key

selected first column 'month' and last column 'Total' by using Crtl key





then go to charts menu and select charts as shown below figure





select the chart / graph type like bar chart, dot chart, of pie chart etc,.









select your favorite chart type from insert chart dialog box









your chart is ready 





your chart will be displayed like this you can move chart to your desired place in sheet  







you can insert dot chart, area chart and pie chart using the same steps
