Mathematics is a part of magic or applied mathematics in magic is called Mathemagic. Hence mathematics is one of the values of magic.

Mathemagic is the cheapest and the most curious form of magic because you don’t need and property or materials to perform it. You can perform these tricks in classroom, office, dining table or anywhere good audience available.

Before going into tutorial we should know some secrets of numbers, then only we feel easy while performing mathemagic.

You know what is magic number?

All numbers are magic numbers and have special and unique identity in magic but some numbers are special because of their magical qualities. 9 is the super magic number.

9 is the powerful number and having the magical qualities therefore 9 is called a magic number.

Let’s look the secret of 9. In 9^th table all 9^th multiples are in unique order

Adding the digits of big number faster than calculator!

In this trick magician tells the answer faster than a calculator.

Method : Ask audience to tell or write any 5 digit number. Now tell them to add each digits. If answer is 2 digits again add the digits of. Until get single number as answer. but Magician tells faster than calculator.

Practice : in this trick 9 plays an important role.

Example : (1) The number is  6123   

Formula is make total 9 and forget

Here 6+1+2+3 = 12 again 1+2 = 3

No need of doing this. Just make round 9 and forget that

Here 6+3 = 9 then forget 6 & 3, then remaining 1&2 so 1+2+ = 3 easy no?

Example : (2) The number is 56498

Here 9 is already exist so forget that, then 6+4 is 10 near to 9 then forget 9 and have 1 . then 1+8 = 9, forget, remaining is 5. hence answer is 5

Example : (3) 4562158

Here 4+5, 8+1 became 9 so forget remaining is 6,2&5 6+2=8 near to 9. So make 9 using 1 from 5. Remaining is 4 (not 5 because we taken 1 to make 9 with 6+2) so answer is 4

Example (4) 2574638

Here  2+7, 5+4, 6+3 are forgettable because the total is 9. Then remaining is 8 so answer is 8

Note: be fast and don’t fear to tell answer. First choose child audience to get confidence then perform it in front of adults. Don’t perform this whit audience who poor in mathematics.
